“bustak” originated from “muara bustak” that gradually translated over time into “kuala lumpur”
as unserious as it sounds, i made this blog to dump my rejected works. i cover kuala lumpur’s arts & culture stories while juggling my day job on a branding desk. i’ve always felt like i’m wasting my already almost non-existent free time on journalism, only to find out half of my work gets booted by editors.
from that, i’ve come to a few realizations. let me point them out:
- i LOVE doing journalism
- i’m also ridiculously busy with my day job
- how else can i keep writing without the anxiety of having my articles axed by editors? here come bustak review.
